Sinaticus' Library is the personal research archive and project hub of Joshua Esposito. It exists as a public notebook for essays, research notes, video projects, theological reflection, philosophy, Earth science, history, apologetics, and long-form analysis.
The goal of this site is to preserve serious work in a stable place outside the speed and disorder of social media. Some pages are finished essays. Others are developing notes, argument sketches, bibliographies, project logs, or working drafts.
My name is Joshua Esposito. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science, with academic interests spanning geology, natural history, science literacy, ancient history, theology, philosophy, and religious studies. My work often sits at the intersection of scientific explanation and theological interpretation, especially where questions of nature, origins, evidence, and meaning overlap.
My Earth Science background gives me a technical foundation in topics such as geologic time, stratigraphy, paleontology, mineralogy, Earth history, environmental systems, and the physical processes that shape the planet. This scientific training strongly informs my writing on creation, evolution, natural theology, and the interpretation of Genesis.
I am especially interested in correcting misinformation in religious and public discussions of science. Much of my work is aimed at building bridges between serious scientific reasoning and serious theological thought, without collapsing one into the other or relying on weak apologetic shortcuts.
My research interests are broad, but they tend to orbit a central question: how should human beings understand reality if nature is both scientifically intelligible and theologically meaningful?
My work includes long-form essays, research compilations, video scripts, public apologetics, and digital research tools. I have worked on projects involving the Shroud of Turin, theistic evolution, Genesis interpretation, science literacy, Earth science education, and theological argumentation.
I also build and experiment with personal research systems, including Markdown-based notes, Obsidian workflows, static websites, and simple HTML/CSS tools for organizing information. This site is part of that larger effort: a way to turn private research into a structured, public-facing archive.
The purpose of this site is not merely to present conclusions. It is also meant to show the process behind them: the research trails, revisions, doubts, arguments, source evaluations, and intellectual experiments that go into serious thinking.
In short: Sinaticus' Library is where I put the things I do not want lost in a feed.
