Scholarly completion and evidence coverage
Source, Evidence, and Publication Workbench
One synchronized workspace for the complete source library, primary witnesses, manuscripts, claim provenance, argument decomposition, falsification tests, evidence comparison, citation health, bibliography, and current-corpus publication.
Consolidated program
Evidence status is part of this workbench
The Evidence Status Ledger remains a full audit interface, but it is no longer advertised as a separate program.

Research coverage at a glance
The counts below are computed directly from the active corpus.

What the unified workbench now controls
Current source library
Source Library
Quality tier, staged verification, publication metadata, locator coverage, claims, events, and independence cautions are shown together.
Controlled ancient evidence
Primary Witnesses
Project-controlled passages, primary-source dossiers, and the Artifacts & Objects synchronized inscription corpus.
Textual control
Manuscripts and Critical Editions
Critical records, inscription editions, manuscript witnesses, reading confidence, and direct-inspection status.
Evidence lineage
Claims and Provenance
Interpretive claims and event-level statements are separated from their cited sources, locators, interpretations, and limitations.
Public claim status comes from the Evidence Status Ledger. Registry class and legacy strength remain visible only as provenance metadata. Event-level statements that have not yet received a Ledger judgment are labeled “Not ledger-classified” rather than being silently promoted into the six-level public taxonomy.

Claim Decomposer
Claims belong with their sources and provenance. This view separates evidence/context, readings or observations, historical inference, and explicit overreach, then shows which premises are actually load-bearing and what would weaken them.
How this view works: this is the project’s single argument-analysis view. Links from artifacts, site dossiers, archaeological syntheses, and search open the same claim map here, keeping the supporting sources and the argument structure together. Open a map’s interactive graph to challenge any encoded prerequisite or apply a defeater; the interface then traces exactly which higher-level conclusions weaken through declared load-bearing edges.
Reproducible argument exports
Claim-decomposition datasets
Exports preserve the analytical layers, declared dependency edges, load-bearing flags, defeater tests, and the derived downstream-impact closure used by the interactive stress test.

Evidence Matrix and Focused Audits
Model scores remain heuristic project evaluations, while independence clusters expose repeated or related evidential chains.

Evidence-independence clusters
Focused scholarly audits
Record-level completion
Evidence Coverage Review
This view measures cataloguing completeness and relationship clarity. It does not convert the quantity of sources or artifacts into historical probability.
Artifact relationship ledger
Publication readiness
Citation and Metadata Health
Live integrity checks identify unresolved references, incomplete metadata, weak locator precision, duplicated dependence, and publication blockers.

Exports preserve uncertainty labels and do not convert contextual evidence into direct confirmation.
